this scan of the artwork definately doesn't do it justice - i am so not impressed with this scan at all... and no matter how many times i fiddled around with it, i just could not get it true. you see, the skin of the girl is actually a skin colour... but here it just looks white, and fuck knows what that random bit on her face is... stupid damn scanner. this will have to do for now, until i work out what on earth to do about scanning/photo... i love it though. it's only small, like less than A4 size... but the colours and the combination of the girl and the bird just get me! this is my favourite piece so far... EDIT: took a tiny bit better photo... can see the colour difference in the skin  |
